- Electric fencers of all ages. Open to TLFA and non-TLFA students.
- Non-TLFA athletes must have local competitive experience. Participation by invitation or approval.
- All ages welcome (must be fencing electric)!

Teaching Roster
Jacob Hazle-Cary
Coach Jacob Cary is an accomplished sabre fencer, distinguished international level referee, and beloved coach. He began his fencing career in a small club in the suburbs of Philadelphia. In college, Jacob was a starter on the Drew University fencing team before eventually becoming team captain. His success as team captain lead him to get an offer from Haverford College to lead their sabre program. He coached at Fencing Academy of Philadelphia for seven years, where he honed his skills and learned the foundation of youth development. Coach Jacob then spent three years in Washington, D.C., finding his lovely wife Diamond and working with one of the strongest women’s sabre programs in the country. In 2022 he returned to Philadelphia, where he grew a small satelittle location into The Line Fencing Academy. The Line now teaches fencers of all ages and levels in a warm and joyful competitive environment.

Pre-Season Fencing Camp
Get a head start on the season with focused training designed to sharpen skills, build confidence, and establish strong competitive habits.Athletes will refine technique, footwork, and tactical thinking through coach-led sessions in a high-energy environment, while building momentum, consistency, and team camaraderie heading into the fall season
