Coach Patrick Mifflin has been with Fencing Academy of Philadelphia since 2009 and has competed as an individual athlete in foil and épée. Patrick was raised in Silver Springs and fell in love with fencing as an undergraduate at Temple University. Deeply interested in creative coaching informed by child development, Coach Patrick is known for being simultaneously strict and very fun. Coach Patrick teaches primarily at the Main Line location and works with beginners of all ages, and with competitive foil, sabre and épée fencers. Patrick lives in Philadelphia with his partner and toddler.
