Eric Mitchell
Eric Mitchell started fencing at the age of 13, and his tactical mind led him to success competing locally and nationally, culminating with winning the Junior Saber at the 2016 Keystone State Games. He has always had a thing for coaching and teaching, leading summer camp fencing programs from 2014-2016 and captaining the Saber at Rochester Institute of Technology as a Sophomore in 2017-18. After taking a few years off from fencing, Eric got back in with the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia in a senior fencer role, which eventually evolved into coaching, to which his skill for learning quickly and sharp mind has allowed him to thrive. In his spare time, Coach Eric is a musician, and he can often be heard singing after practice.
